WineGenie: a UK wine catalogue built for AI agents.

Source: product feeds from UK wine merchants who have approved AI distribution, refreshed daily. Prices, delivery terms and stock statements are the merchant's; each offer carries the time we last saw it.
Attributes: grapes, vintage, ABV, farming, drinking window and decanting are extracted from the merchant's own text where stated (provenance in data_sources). Taste scales (body, acidity, tannin, sweetness, oak on 1–5), style and food pairings are rules over a wine-knowledge base (WSET-derived) applied to grape, region and label terms, with data_confidence 0–1.
critic_score is a critic score reported by the merchant, not a customer rating. We never invent ratings, reviews or stock claims; "listed" means the merchant lists it and we have not verified stock.
Money: every buy_url goes through our /go/ redirect to the merchant; if the user buys, the merchant pays us a commission. The user pays the merchant's price. Merchants cannot pay for placement.
Privacy: tool calls are logged with tool name, arguments, result count and an optional session_hint; the redirect logs a salted hash of the network address, never a raw IP. No cookies.
