Merchant's description

Maison des Saules Côtes du Jura La Madeleine is a white Jura from the village of Pupillin. This 2024 Chardonnay is a single-vineyard expression produced through the ouillé method, where barrels are topped up to prevent oxidative character. The soil in this parcel is dominated by grey marl, which provides a unique weight, energy and density to the fruit. Winemaking focuses on minimal intervention and natural ferments to highlight the purity of the Pupillin terroir. It offers a bright and saline profile of lemon zest, green apple and a distinct flinty mineral undertone that is characteristic of the region.
