De la Grave 2005 is a full-bodied, Merlot-based red wine from the Côtes de Bourg appellation of Bordeaux. Château de la Grave is was established in the village of La Grave in the 1860s. The property produces a range of accessible, good-value Bordeaux wines using biodynamically farmed fruit. Producer note on the 2005 grand vin. "On the nose, intense notes of very ripe red fruits and black berries that explode. The fleshy and fruity mouth is carried by a nice freshness and pleasant tannins. It is an easy drinking wine that you can enjoy simple, accessible from his youth."
