Merchant's description

Sourced from six vineyards around Auckland, fermented in barrel with indigenous yeasts, and matured in oak for 11 months before bottling. Great purity and freshness, with a certain delicacy, and a persistent perfume of sweet and succulent apple fruit and blossom. Nicely weighted and rich, showing some classic flint, this has precision too, a lively citrussy edge and long mealy flavours. Drink 3-9 years.
