Château Péby Faugères is a Grand Cru Classé property in Saint-Émilion, situated inside the larger Château Faugères. Owned by Swiss entrepreneur Silvio Denz since 2005, its 7.5-hectare vineyard is planted entirely to Merlot on clay-limestone soils. This release is the 2019 vintage of its second wine. It is a fruit-forward expression, with notes of liquorice, chocolate, wet earth and coffee. Structured by silky tannins, the wine finishes on a luscious note that is vibrant and persistent.
