Meneghetti is a prestigious Croatian winery and wine resort situated a short distance from Pula, in the heart of the Istrian Peninsula. The elegant residence with a renowned restaurant is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, characterized by red soils rich in minerals and iron. The vineyards are planted with local and international grape varieties and are cultivated sustainably. The wine is made exclusively from Istrian Malvasia grapes, one of the most representative varieties of the area, sourced from Brtonigla on gray earth soils. After harvesting and vinification, the finished wine ages in stainless steel for 6 months before bottling. In the glass, Meneghetti Malvazija reveals a clear, straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. Its aromatic profile is broad and layered, with initial fruity notes of stone fruit and green apple, followed by floral aromas of acacia and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and smooth, with a medium body and a rich texture, typical of Malvasia. It has a good concentration of fruit and a long, balanced finish. Try it with grilled swordfish or sea bream, baked salmon, or white meat.
