Merchant's description
Château Monbrison 2002 is a Cru Bourgeois red wine from the Margaux appellation. Château Monbrison is situated on the highly regarded gravel soils of the highest plateaux of the appellation. The wine is aged in French oak for about 18 months. It offers a striking complexity, showing a nose of black fruits, tobacco, cedar and earthy notes. The palate is medium-bodied with purity, finesse and an attractive balance, with the firm Margaux tannins having softened to a graceful finish.
