Munjebel Rosso 8 Cornelissen is an artisanal red wine from the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. This non-vintage bottling is a blend of several harvests, predominantly featuring Nerello Mascalese grown on volcanic soils at high altitudes. Produced by Frank Cornelissen using a non-interventionist approach, the wine displays an intense and wild profile of volcanic ash, red berries and smoky minerals. It is fermented without added sulphur and aged in neutral epoxy tanks to ensure the raw character of the Etna terroir is preserved. It is a transparent and energetic red that has become a cult icon for lovers of natural wine.
