Merchant's description
Château Pedesclaux 2001 is a full-bodied red wine produced by the Fifth Growth estate of Château Pedesclaux in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Still a relatively under-rated Bordeaux producer, Pedesclaux has been on an upward trajectory in terms of quality since 1996, when current owners Brigitte and Denis Jugla took ownership of the property. This mature vintage offers notes of ripe red cherry and blackberry fruit and classic old leather and cigar box spice, tapering to a long finish.
