In the early 1930s they were the first to produce a bottle with the name Soave on the label. When Nino Pieropan took over from his father in the 1970s he became the first of the family to produce a single vineyard wine - the Calvarino. The Soave Classico is the youngest and freshest wine in the family's range. It is produced entirely from indigenous varietals that are grown on the hillside vineyard of the Soave Classico region.
