Jacques Carillon Puligny-Montrachet 2022 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Puligny-Montrachet appellation of the Côte de Beaune. The Carillon family has owned vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet since the 16th century. Jacques Carillon took over management of the domaine in the 1980s. Typically the Chardonnays of the domaine are barrel-fermented and aged for 12 months in small oak barrels followed by six months in stainless steel vats. This 2022 Puligny-Montrachet is produced from seven lieux-dits totalling 2.7 hectares in Puligny. Aged in 15% new oak barrels, this is an elegant, restrained Chardonnay with a close-knit texture and excellent ageing potential.
