Merchant's description

Savagnin Ouillé 24 Mois Kevin Bouillet 2022 is a site-specific white wine from the Jura that has undergone two years of maturation in topped-up barrels, avoiding the region`s traditional oxidative veil. This ouillé style preserves the primary intensity of the Savagnin grape, offering a powerful profile of preserved citrus, hazelnut and exotic spices. The 2022 vintage displays a profound structural density and a laser-like acidity, result of the extended 24-month lees ageing. Grown on ancient marl soils in Arbois Pupillin, the wine is marked by a deep-seated stony minerality and a long, savoury finish. It is a serious and intellectual white, showcasing the incredible potential for Savagnin to achieve textural richness while remaining crystalline and pure.
