Château Suduiraut, Premier Cru Classé in 1855, is one of the great historic vineyards of Sauternes, world renowned for its long lived sweet white wines that harmoniously combine fruit and floral aromas with roasted, candied notes. The 2009 vintage is composed of 93% Sémillon and 7% Sauvignon Blanc. Wonderfully complex on the nose with notes of candied tropical fruit, white flowers, gingerbread and gunflint. Powerful on the palate, with aromas of roast pineapple, candied apricot and barley sugar leading to a long, full-bodied finish revealing spices, candied fruit and vanilla.
