Merchant's description

Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Batard-Montrachet 2022 is a full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Grand Cru of Bâtard-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune. Based in Chassagne-Montrachet, Fontaine-Gagnard is a family-run domaine with approximately 12 hectares of vineyards. It was formed in 1985 by Laurence Gagnard and her husband Richard Fontaine after Laurence inherited part of Domaine Gagnard-Delagrange. Producer note. "[Batard-Montrachet`s] imposing and serious structure in youth reveals hints of butter, honey and dried fruit. More intense minerality than the Criots."
