Merchant's description

Labégorce Zédé 1995 is a red Bordeaux blend from the Margaux appellation. This estate is known for its gravelly soils, which encourage the Cabernet Sauvignon to ripen slowly and develop a classic profile of cedar, graphite, tobacco and blackcurrants. With over 30 years of development, the tannins have softened, revealing a seamless, elegant structure and a complex, nuanced finish. The 1995 vintage provided the ideal conditions for this Margaux estate to achieve a high level of concentration and longevity, resulting in a classic, refined expression of the Left Bank.
