Château Ksara Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 is a Lebanese red from the high-altitude Bekaa Valley, where the vines are planted at 1,000 metres on clay and chalk soils. The 2010 vintage enjoyed a long, dry summer, allowing the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to reach full ripeness while benefiting from cool night temperatures. Winemaking involves traditional fermentation and 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels. After 16 years, this release has developed a complex secondary profile, featuring notes of dried blackcurrants, cedar, tobacco and a touch of Mediterranean spice.
