Merchant's description

Drink it now or cellar for up to 25 years. It is recommended to decant it for an hour. Sartori di Verona is a Valpolicella winery based in Negrar, founded in 1898 and today managed by Andrea and Luca, fourth generation of the Sartori family. The company owns approximately 120 hectares of vineyards, located between Valpolicella and Soave, and also purchases grapes from selected winemakers. Amarone Riserva Corte Bra is the company's flagship wine and is produced only in the best years. The blend is the classic one and includes Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella with small additions of other local grapes such as Croatina and Oseleta. The grapes come from the vineyard of the same name located north of Verona, and enclosed within the garden of the seventeenth-century Villa Maria in Negrar. After the harvest, the traditional drying of the grapes, and vinification, the finished wine is aged for 5-6 years in a barrel and then another 6 months in the bottle. The wine has an intense red color with garnet shades. Its aromatic profile is rich and complex with notes of red fruit jam, cherries in alcohol, sweet spices, and tobacco leaves. On the palate, it is powerful and characterful. It is round and has an excellent structure. The tannins are firm and ripe. The finish is long and warm. Enjoy it with refined game-based dishes.
