Located in Chile's Maule Valley, Terra Noble is a winery founded in 1993, encompassing approximately 360 hectares of vineyards. The company produces a wide range of excellent wines that reflect the exceptionality of Chile's terroirs and the highest varietal expression. Carmenere grapes are sourced from vineyards scattered throughout Chile's Central Valley. Here, the vines enjoy excellent exposure and a warm climate cooled by Andean breezes. These conditions favor slow ripening and the development of a broad aromatic profile. After manual harvesting, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel, and the finished wine ages in oak barrels. Terra Noble Azara Carmenere is an expressive wine that reveals an intense purple color with bluish highlights in the glass. Its aromatic profile is rich and broad, with notes of dark berries intertwined with spicy hints on a delicate undertone of dark chocolate. On the palate, it has a medium body and round tannins. It is elegant and balanced, concentrated and juicy, with a refreshing acidity and a finish that recalls light chocolatey touches. Try it with pork ribs with peppers, lamb tagine, or meat and vegetable tacos.
