The Alessandro Viola Note di Rosso 2024 is a natural red wine from Alcamo, Sicily, comprising Nero d`Avola, Nerello Mascalese and Perricone. Winemaker Alessandro Viola`s philosophy is centred on minimal intervention and purity, with grapes organically farmed from limestone and clay soils in various plots. The wine sees spontaneous fermentation, a short maceration of around seven days, and aging for approximately 12 months in large chestnut and oak barrels. It is fruit-forward, juicy and thirst-quenching, with ripe strawberries and black cherries balanced by notes of liquorice, balsamic freshness and subtle spice.
