The grapes used for Quintarelli`s Azero are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot sourced from a small plot near the winery – which also lends its name to the wine. This plot is located in Negrar (Veneto), at an elevation of 350 meters above sea level, with a western exposure and a soil rich in limestone and basalt. The wine displays an intense garnet red colour and aromas of dried fruit, spices, complemented by hints of cocoa and vanilla. On the palate, it reveals a powerful profile with notes of ripe fruit and jam, followed by a long-lasting finish.
