Merchant's description
Argyros Vinsanto 2003 is a lusciously sweet dessert wine from Santorini, Greece, made from sun-dried Assyrtiko, Athiri and Aidani grapes. This Late Release expression was aged for 16 years in old oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop a dark mahogany hue and immense depth. The palate is characterised by decadent notes of salted caramel, dark chocolate and raisins, underscored by a volcanic mineral profile and tensile acidity.
