This is the 2018 release of Harper`s Rest, Arista`s single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. 2018 was a classic, well-balanced Sonoma vintage, neither too hot nor too cool, giving wines of real freshness. Expect a vivid ruby colour, with rose petal, black cherry, mocha and black tea aromas, and a bright, silky palate with fine tannins and a long, spicy finish. Approachable now but capable of developing further over the next four to six years; try with roast chicken.
