Mina Rosé is a still rosé from Astoria, the Veneto producer best known for its Prosecco. Launched in 2023, it was developed as a more traditional, food-friendly wine alongside the estate’s sparkling range. It is made from red grapes vinified as a white, with a short period of skin contact to extract a delicate colour while retaining freshness. The 2023 has a pale, slightly powdery pink colour, with aromas of fresh strawberry and floral notes, alongside a subtle spicy character. Dry, crisp and well balanced, it has bright acidity and a clean, lightly mineral finish. At 12% alcohol, it is an easy-going Veneto rosé designed for drinking young, particularly with seafood, salads, antipasti and other lighter dishes.
