Au Bon Climat Isabelle Pinot Noir 2020 is a medium-bodied red wine produced from Pinot Noir grapes in the Santa Maria Valley AVA of California. Au Bon Climat was founded by the late Jim Clendenen in 1982 and continues to produce hugely popular Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from a variety of sites around California’s Central Coast. The wines of ABC, from the most accessible Classics series to the long-aged Blue series, seem to find a perfect balance between Old World restraint and New World approachability. The Isabelle Pinot Noir is a blend of the estate`s top Pinot barrels from different vineyard sources, and is often the most highly regarded Pinot in the ABC range. "The 2020 Pinot Noir Isabelle is a blend of the best barrels across all the vineyards Au Bon Climat sources from. Dark and enveloping, the Isabelle has a ton to offer. Dark red/purplish fruit, spice lavender and licoricey are nicely pushed forward." Vinous
