The 2020 Barbaresco from Gaja is a Nebbiolo from the Barbaresco DOCG, sourced from 14 distinct vineyard parcels within the appellation. A legendary Piemdont producer, Gaja matures this bottling for 12 months in French oak barriques followed by 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks. The 2020 vintage produced a wine of elegance and refinement, presenting a profile of fresh rose, wild strawberry and delicate spice, with a precise acidity and fine, approachable tannins.
