Merchant's description
The first vintage of Barolo Arione. Only three casks were produced, one of which was auctioned off to charity and the other blended into the iconic Monfortino. The majority of the vineyard was planted in the 1960s and the wine is bestowed with great richness and weight. This is powerful Barolo built for the long-haul.
