Merchant's description
Baron the Brane is the second wine from Château Brane-Cantenac, a Second Growth estate situated in the Margaux appellation. The 2014 vintage is a blend of 65.4% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and just a pinch of Carménère. It’s an elegant expression, with expressive aromas of stewed red fruits, mocha and espresso notes. The palate offers refined tannins and a finish which is tinged with tobacco and spices.
