Bayala Lavaque Criolla Chica 2019 is a medium-bodied red wine from the Mendoza region of Argentina. Produced by the Vallisto winery, Bayala Lavaque is made from the hand-harvested Criolla Chica (also known as País in Chile) from vines planted in the late 19th century at 1,900m meters above sea level in the Calchaqui Valley. Matured for two winters in French oak barrels, this crisp and vivacious light red offers notes of hibiscus, pink peppercorn, pomegranate and musky red fruits.
