Merchant's description

Founded in 1880, Maison Joseph Drouhin owns vineyards in Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise, as well as in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The 2010 Clos des Mouches Rouge is in a perfect stage right now. The wine has a lovely core of strawberries and raspberries, tempered by sweet spices such as cinnamon and a touch of herbs. On the palate, there is an impeccable balance of fruit, floral and earthy elements. Long finish with excellent depth.
