Château Bélair 2006 is a full-bodied, Merlot-dominant red wine from the St-Emilion appellation of Bordeaux. Château Bélair – now renamed Château Bélair-Monange – is a Grand Cru Classé B property as per the official Saint-Émilion classification. The estate covers approximately 26 hectares, planted to Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The 2006 is mature in expression with notes of spiced red and black fruit, cedar, tobacco and dried herbs.
