Merchant's description

Founded in 1768, Château Berliquet is a Grand Cru Classé and one of the oldest estates in Saint Emilion. The 2005 is an aromatic wine, with intense scents of black plums, cherries, blackcurrants, sweet spices and a touch of smoke. The palate is filled with rich, spicy black fruits and liquorice. It has excellent concentration and a long, toasty finish.
