Château Beychevelle is a Fourth Growth Bordeaux producer situated in the Saint-Julien appellation. This beautiful estate covers 250 hectares of which about 90 are planted with vines. The 2021 vintage is a blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. On the nose, cherry blossom, woody herbs, and hedgerow create a beautiful floral profile. The palate continues the floral theme with prominent notes of rosemary, accompanied by flavours of red cherry and redcurrants. Fresh plums and well-integrated pithy tannins combine to create a harmonious, midweight core of fruit, making the wine approachable and enjoyable from a relatively young age.
