Billecart Salmon Cuvée Louis Salmon 2012 is a vintage, prestige-cuvée, blanc de blancs Champagne produced by Maison Billecart-Salmon in Epernay, France. Founded in 1818 with the marriage of Nicolas François Billecart to Elisabeth Salmon, Billecart-Salmon is one of the few Champagne houses to remain family-owned, now in its seventh generation. This cuvée was named in tribute to Elisabeth Salmon’s brother, Louis, who was involved in winemaking from the earliest creation of the house. The grapes are sourced from the best parcels of the Côte des Blancs and the resulting wine is endowed with purity and minerality.
