Merchant's description
La Grande Année is the embodiment of Bollinger’s expertise. The wine is exclusively vinified in small, aged oak barrels which helps develop aromas of great finesse. On the nose, expect tropical fruits including pineapple and passion fruit, pears and quince. The palate is structured around excellent acidity and minerality as the backbone. Beautiful notes of ripe red apples, walnuts, brioche and fine blossom honey. Refined and long finish.
