Bollinger RD 2007 is a vintage, prestige-cuvée Champagne produced by Champagne Bollinger in Aÿ, France. Created by Lily Bollinger herself, the first iteration of Bollinger Récemment Dégorgé – or simply RD – was a 1952 vintage released in 1967. Today, each new vintage is received with much anticipation. The 2007 vintage is a blend composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, with 91% of the grapes sourced from grand crus. The nose reveals aromas of honey, freshly baked pastry, ginger and hazelnuts. The palate is fresh and clean, with notes of aniseed, macadamia nuts and plums.
