This charming half bottle of 2018 Château Bourgneuf is an accomplished blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. On the nose, expect enticing aromas of Morello cherries, blackberry pie, crushed plums, some spiciness and oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with some savoury layers and a dark fruit core. Tannins are rounded and the wine finishes on a pleasant cocoa note.
