Merchant's description

Château Boyd-Cantenac 1998 is a mature-vintage, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. Boyd-Cantenac is a Third Growth Margaux estate, owned and run by the Guillemet family since 1932. The grand vin of the estate is typically aged for two years in oak barrels and vats before being bottled. "Medium-bodied and smooth, very elegant too, this 1998 is however quite light and somewhat subdued. Moderately persistent and deep with aromas of earth, blackcurrant, cedar and dust." Robert Parker, 2002
