The Cupano Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is a 100% Sangiovese wine from the biodynamically farmed estate situated on a stony hill above the Ombrone river in the Camigliano area of Montalcino. The estate comprises 6.4 hectares of vineyard with high mineral content and good drainage. The wine undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is aged for around three years in Burgundian pièces, including a small percentage of new oak. This vintage offers an expressive bouquet of dark cherry, black tea leaves, violets and black tea leaves, with a fine web of tannins and a very long, defined finish.
