Merchant's description

Drink now or cellar for up to 11 years.. Decant 1 hour before serving. This voluptuous Buccella wine immediately captures your attention with its vivid dark ruby hue and enticing aromas of cassis, black cherry and dark chocolate. The first sip reveals a silky smooth texture, firm structure and generous full body which is complemented by the intense ripe berry flavours and smoky tobacco notes. Although predominantly made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Bucella also add smaller quantities of Merlot and Petit Verdot to add a touch of softness to the finished blend and the wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months before it is deemed ready for release. The Buccella Mica Cabernet perfectly captures the couple’s love and passion for Californian wine country and is an ideal wine to accompany a special dinner or to share with close family and friends. The attention to detail that goes into making this wine is characteristic of Bucella which was founded by Alicia and Bill Deem in 2002. The couple fell in love with Napa and Sonoma while on honeymoon and subsequently spent their vacations visiting local wineries before deciding to begin their own project. Today the couple have established a fantastic reputation for their top quality wines which are typically made with grapes sourced from a variety of appellations and terroirs to add complexity to the finished wine.
