This Ca` Marcanda 2018 in magnum format is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from the Gaja family estate in Bolgheri. 2017 was a slightly lighter vintage than the hot 2017 and the wine shows a delightful freshness and harmony. It offers plenty of depth, but with no excess weight. A nuanced wine that will benefit from further ageing.
