Campanien Legrand-Latour 2020 is a singular blanc de noirs Champagne produced by Thibault Legrand in Fleury-la-Rivière. This cuvée is 100% Pinot Meunier, grown in soils uniquely rich in 45-million-year-old marine fossils from the Campanien geological era. It is a Brut Nature expression that undergoes fermentation in oak barrels with indigenous yeasts, followed by extended ageing under natural cork in the estate`s hand-excavated fossil museum. The palate is strikingly mineral and saline, balanced by the succulent texture of ripe orchard fruits and a fine, persistent mousse.
