Owned by luxury fashion house Chanel since 1996, Château Canon is a Premier Grand Cru Classé ‘B’ classified estate situated on the Saint-Émilion limestone plateau. The 2021 vintage is a blend of 71% Merlot and 29% Cabernet Franc, aged for 16-18 months in French oak barrels [50% new]. On the nose, expect aromas of dark cherries, blueberries, purple flowers and just a hint of camphor. The palate is medium-bodied and soft, with a lovely grip, saturated tannins and a dash of spice toward the compact finish.
