Château Canon is a Premier Grand Cru Classé ‘B’ classified estate situated in the Saint-Émilion appellation. Owned by luxury fashion house Chanel since 1996, the château has 18 hectares of vineyards planted on limestone-based soils. The 2010 vintage is a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, with a 15% ABV. Expect notes of red berries, dark cherries, liquorice and a sprinkle of vanilla. Presented here in a half bottle format, the wine is drinking well now but will age for much longer.
