Merchant's description
Situated on Pomerol’s prized plateau neighbouring Vieux Château Certain and La Fleur-Pétrus, Certain de May is another of the exceptional Moueix stable. The 1988 may well turn out better than the two releases from the more highly acclaimed 1989 and 1990 vintages. This is muscular and concentrated with beautiful aromatics, firm tannins and lovely underlying freshness.
