Certan Marzelle 2008 is a mature-vintage Merlot-based red wine from the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux. Certan Marzelle is the `garagiste` operation of Christian Moueix and uses 100% Merlot from a vineyard that was originally part of his flagship property, Certan-Giraud. On the 2008. "Made from 100% Merlot, this sexy Pomerol reveals a deep ruby/purple colour along with intense, pleasing, sweet raspberry, black cherry, and berry fruit notes, terrific purity, moderate to light tannin, and a fleshy, flamboyant personality. It should drink beautifully young, and evolve for 10-12 years." Robert Parker, 2009
