One of the most prestigious wine producers in Chablis, William Fèvre owns the largest array of premier and grands cru vineyards. The domaine is owned by Maisons et Domaines Henriot since 1998, whose portfolio includes Bouchard Père & Fils, Beaux Frères and Champagne Henriot. This release is the 2020 vintage of their Bougros ‘Côte Bouguerots’, presented here in 3-litre bottle. Bougros is one of the seven grand crus in Chablis, and it is marked by a blend of clay and pebbles on rather thin soil. Expect a complex aroma profile, with dense, robust structure and a pleasant roundness.
