Hailing from a respected Chablis family, Samuel Billaud embarked on his own venture in 2009, founding his own domaine. Prior to this, he had been the winemaker at Domaine Billaud-Simon, an esteemed producer within the realm of classic Chablis quality. Since the inception of his label, Samuel has achieved remarkable success. This release hails from Mont de Milieu, a Premier Cru situated on the eastern banks of the Serein River. Following the frost challenges of 2021, the arrival of the warm and sun-kissed 2022 vintage brought relief to Chablis` winemakers, who were pleased with a bountiful harvest of exceptional quality.
