Founded at the start of the 20th century, Armand Rousseau is a leading estate in Burgundy, producing some of most collectible wines in the world. The domaine consists of approximately 15 hectares, over half of which is situated in Grand Cru sites. This release is their Chambertin Grand Cru from the 2012 vintage, which is drinking perfectly well now. The wine reveals a deep black cherry core, complemented by violets, smoke, hints of leather and fresh earth, finishing on a savoury note.
