Merchant's description

Joseph Drouhin Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru 1990 is a Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits, sourced from esteemed parcels characterised by limestone-rich soils. The 1990 vintage produced wines with great fruit intensity and fleshy textures. Drouhin used a high proportion of whole-cluster fermentation to maintain freshness and provide a floral aromatic profile. After 18 months of Ageing in French oak, the wine has developed complex secondary notes of sous-bois, dried rose petals and kirsch. The tannins are fully resolved, creating a supple mouthfeel that balances the natural ripeness of the vintage.
