Domaine Amiot-Servelle Chambolle-Musigny Derrière la Grange 2023 is a Premier Cru Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits. This 0.26-hectare enclave is a heat trap, protected from the winds of the Combe d’Ambin, which results in the most powerful wine of the domaine. This release is dense and compact, showing notes of plum, toasted earth and dark chocolate supported by a very firm structure. It is a brooding, structural Pinot Noir that demands age to untangle its concentrated, iron-like core, yet it remains remarkably fresh thanks to the estate’s minimalist, infusion-style winemaking.
